Staffordshire’s life expectancy is between 12 to 14 years and they are two things they need in their life: human contact and plenty of time to play. These dogs are best suited for families with children where they can be playful and amiable and do a lot of exercises.

In terms of health, Bull Terriers are mainly in good health but genetic health problems such as elbow dysplasia and juvenile cataracts can make them suffer and become more aggressive with other dogs.
