Full Description
The Schapendoes or Dutch Sheepdog is a very rare breed in the UK, there are only 39! From a litter of 7 born on February 13th we have 4 girls looking for their forever home. They are Cora, the first born and smallest one. Clementine, who loves a cuddle. Claudi who is confident and laidback. And Chigley, who is petite and finding her confidence.
They are often mistaken for Bearded Collies or Tibetan Terriers when we are out on our walks. Schapendoes aren’t a recognised breed in the UK, but we supply the pups with Dutch Kennel Club pedigree certificates.
They are a medium sized, intelligent and active dog, just as happy doing agility as sitting on the sofa and cuddling. They have long shaggy fur that requires regular brushing, but they don’t moult just shed whisps of fur.
The puppies can be viewed with the mother and father and two other adult Schapendoes. They will be released at 10 weeks old vaccinated and microchipped.
