This is Olive’s third litter of cockapoos, the first with the stud Roger who has sired several litters in the area including to friends of ours so came on great recommendations. Olive is a Working Cocker Spaniel who turns 6 in March 2024 and the stud a 9-inch toy poodle who is 2 years old. Both parents are pedigree breeds and are both KC Registered with champions on both sides. Olive is our family pet, she is such an affectionate girl who loves cuddles. Her personality and temperament are amazing. Olive has a love for swimming in the nearby nature reserve lake and always has a smile for a tennis ball. The sire Roger is the cutest and calmest poodle I have ever met. He has a brilliant temperament with fabulous dark red tight curls, at only 9 inches tall and at a dinky 4kg in weight he is classed as a Toy Poodle. The pregnancy has been confirmed and puppies shall be due around 9th April. 2 puppies are reserved from the waiting list which includes a repeat owner. I have a group on Facebook to share the many pictures I have been taking, in the group are the forever owners of the previous litters, our family and close friends who all love the daily updates of each day’s events of the litter with photos, weight graphs and videos. I am not putting anything on my personal social media account for security but it is nice to keep everyone updated with this latest litter. The group has been kept up to date since early 2021 with the previous litters’ adventures from myself and their owners, who are all in contact with each other. In 2022 all 4 puppies from the first litter met our home for their 1st birthday party. Almost all of both litters (10/11) joined us again in summer 2023 for a massive meet up. It was great to see everyone from as far away as Kent. I see this as a testament as how happy the owners are with their dogs and the initial 8 weeks they spent with us. I would hope the owners of this third litter will continue up update myself and the group in the future also. With Olive being our family pet, all puppies will be socialised in a busy household with 3 children (2 being teenagers), our Labrador and Hattie the cockapoo, who we kept from the first litter. The puppies will be accustomed to everyday noises and children. We have a range of visitors from toddlers to OAP’s. They will be provided with initial insurance and a goody bag, including 1.5kg of food, blanket, toys, astro turf and copies of both parents’ pedigree and health tests. Not all vets provide the same initial vaccinations and this can be discussed and altered a necessary. The puppies will be due to leave at 8 weeks which will be approximately 4th June 2024.
