My dam, Lucy, a ruby cockalier spaniel (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel x Working Cocker Spaniel) recently gave birth to 10 wonderful and healthy cockalier spaniels. This will be her first and last litter as we are not breeders, but wanted to have one of her puppies and ended up with 10! We will be keeping 1 girl, so 6 girls and 3 boys will be available for collection from Thursday 26 August. Visits to our home, where both the mother and the puppies can be seen, are now possible.*
Lucy is very docile, smart, eager to please, energetic but happy to lounge around our home or on our lap whenever she's at home. Both Lucy and the puppies live in a busy home and will have gotten used to being handled by both adults and children and to noise. The puppies will have begun socialisation with visitors and our other male neutered cocker spaniel who is acting as a surrogate grandfather given his age!
The father "Ozzy" (Kennel Club registration name Leeglen Charlie) is a beautiful and gentle, extremely intelligent chocolate working cocker spaniel with a lot of FTCHs in his pedigree.
The puppies will make lovely, gentle family pets to active homes or great working dogs.
The puppies will not be KC registered as Lucy isn't KC registered.
The puppies are mainly black, black with white patches, with some having tan or tricolour markings. See pics of the father, mother and puppies in this advert.
All puppies will have been regularly wormed and received their flea treatment, received their first vaccination, microchipped and will have undergone a Vet health check prior to 26 August.
Puppies will be sent off with a puppy pack:
1) containing a puppy training book;
2) a puppy fleece with the scent of their mother;
3) a 2 kg bag of AVA Veterinary Approved Optimum Health Medium Breed Dry Puppy Food they are currently being weaned onto; and
4) 5 weeks of free insurance cover by 5-star Defaqto pet insurance provider, Agria. This free insurance service covers your puppy for any illness or injury they may suffer and gives you unlimited access to qualified vet nurses for you. Besides providing peace of mind, this free insurance cover will give you plenty of time to find the most appropriate insurance provider if you decide to not continue with Agria insurance.
The above and associated paperwork will be provided in order to ensure a smooth transition when our puppies will leave for their new forever homes but I, of course, will be available to answer any of your queries after the sale of our puppy if you are new to owning puppies/dogs.
Please email me or call with details about yourself, your home and lifestyle and any questions you may have?
Those with the serious intention of adopting one of our puppies can come view both the mother and the remaining puppies before 26 August and put a (non-refundable) deposit of £300 to reserve a specific puppy for collection on 26 August.
*Adult visitors (ideally already fully vaccinated) will need to abide by Covid-19 (hands, face and space) guidelines during their visit.
