Full Description
We are proud to present the first litter from Snorabulls Royal Seal, our rare Blue Seal Girl.
Dam - Royal Seal has been fully health tested, she is HUU, CMR1 and DM Clear. Prior to breeding she was checked by a Bulldog Breed Council approved Vet and achieved the Bulldog Breed Council Bronze Award for health. She is RFGC BOAS tested as suitable for breeding.
Sire - After over a year of searching, we found C_Rich_Bullz Grizzly Bear who is a unique quality stud, not overdone, breathes well and has a fabulous structure. What stood our for us was how happy and sociable he is and is known as a pub dog! His temperament compliments our girl.
Pedigree - This mating achieves an inbreeding co-efficient score of 3.7% against a breed average of 7.4% (see Kennel Club Website - the lower the number, the lower the risk of the dog having health problems). We can trace our lineage back to the 1980s - officially the pups can be traced back over 32 generations with 7 complete. There are many famous names (including champions) in the historic pedigree. The magnificent colours originate from the famous Shrinkabulls (USA).
The Pups - We have had fun with a Winnie the Pooh theme for this litter. For the first two weeks of the pups life, when not nursing from their mother, they have been kept in a hyperbaric chamber which has provided them with 100% oxygen. It has regulated the temperature and humidity to give the pups the very best start in life. Anions have also been fed into the chamber to vitalise their nervous system. Royal Seal is an excellent mother - her milk supply was superb and her care and nurturing of the pups is very apparent. Mum was fed on a very high quality superfood diet for a full year before breeding. At 5 weeks old the pups are 90% litter tray trained. They are fully weaned and will be ready to leave just in time for the school holidays.
The pups are KC and DWKC registered. One of the litter (Tigger) has undergone both genetic testing (Animal Genetics) showing HUU, CMR1 and DM clear. We also tested the heritage via Wisdom Panel to make sure there was no outcrossing to achieve the colours. We also obtained a medication intolerance test which shows as clear. Interestingly Tigger has one copy of CA1 Curly Coat - we can also see the curl beginning to show on some of the other pups too.
This is a very special litter - each pup is unique and are an absolute joy to look after.
About us - please see the description - Having retired, I breed bulldogs as a hobby and my aim is to improve the health and reputation of the non standard colour bulldogs. Check out the previous history on youtube - sociabullies and instagram poshgeordie48.
We are based in North Yorkshire but have the facility to transport pups anywhere in the UK.
