Tatra Mountain Sheepdogs hobby breeder in Campbeltown / Ceann Loch Chille Chiarain | Adam Warchol

Full Description

Our dogs are pedigree Polish Tatra Mountain Sheepdogs ("Podhalans"), which look very similar to Maremmas, but are not listed by the British or American Kennel Clubs (too few animals in each country), but are recognised by all other kennel clubs and the F.C.I.

This ancient breed are large white mountain sheepdogs bred to guard, herd and lead mountain sheep flocks in the Tatra Mountains. They are loyal, friendly and devoted and respond well to training and socialising, needing a moderate level of exercise.

We breed our pedigree champion pair (Tajemnica "Sawa" and Big Ben) who are much-loved family pets here in the Scottish countryside. We are FCI and Polish Kennel Club approved and our dogs and puppies are registered with both organisations.
